Reigning champions Bashundhara Kings and once power-house of Bangladesh’s football Brothers Union Club won their respective matches of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football at the different venues across the country on Friday.
Title aspirants Dhaka Abahani Limited made a goalless draw with Fortis Football Club (FC) at the Bashundhara Kings Arena in the capital on the same day.
Bashundhara Kings defeated Bangladesh Police Football Club by five goals to nil at Rafique Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh.
After yesterday’s outcome, Bashundhara Kings bagged 10 points from six matches, while Bangladesh Police Football Club collected six points from as many outings.
Bashundhara Kings took the fifth position in the points table of the BPL Football, the most prestigious domestic football meet of the country.

Dhaka Abahani Limited was deprived from a consecutive hat-trick win their league campaign as Fortis Football Club showed a superb performance.
Dhaka Abahani Limited took the second position gaining 13 points from six matches, while Fortis Football Club took the sixth spot earning seven points from as many outings.
It may be mentioned that Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited led the points table grabbing maximum 15 points from five matches.
