Abul Kalam Mohammad Shamsuddin, Director General of the Department of Films and Publications (DFP) visited the country’s oldest English daily The New Nation at the RK Mission Road in the capital on Wednesday.
The DG, accompanied by senior officials of the DFP, discussed various issues relating to print media, particularly The New Nation, with Md. Mokarram Hossain, the Editor of the daily. Other senior journalists and officials of the newspaper were present at the time.
Among the DFP officials, Mohammad Fakhrul Islam, Director, (Advertising), Chowdhury Sahela Parveen, Deputy Director and Mohammad Rasheeduzzaman, Deputy Director were also present.
