Under an initiative led by the Narayanganj district administration and funded by the district council, dengue test kits for patients and iron tablets for pregnant women under the Family Planning Department were distributed at the 300-bed hospital.
The event was held on Thursday morning at the newly constructed building of the 300-bed hospital in Khanpur. The chief guest was Narayanganj Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Jahidul Islam Minya.
Speakers included District Civil Surgeon Dr. Mushirur Rahman, Medical Superintendent of the 300-bed Hospital Dr. Abul Bashar, the Deputy Director of District Family Planning, and others.
