Democracy Int’l holds ‘Amio Jitte Chai’ in Sylhet

The Democracy International organised an event titled Amio Jitte Chai featuring discussion and theatrical performance at the District Shilpokola Academy auditorium in Sylhet on Monday.
Funded by the USAID, the campaign aimed at inspiring young people to take action on social issues in their communities.
Discussants encouraged young people to raise their voices against injustice and irregularities, emphasising the importance of youth advocating for their rights and standing up for fairness.
Samia Chaudhury vice-president of the Multi-Party Advocacy Forum in sylhet, BSS Sylhet Bureau chief Selim Awal, LAW Faculty of Leading University Sabera Sultana,District Mohila Dal President Tahsin Sharmin Tamanna, City Mohila Dal President Niger Sultana Daizy, District BNP Vice president Mahbubur Rab Chaudhury Foysol and City BNP Leader Mukul Ahmed Murshed also Spoke the event.
Conducted by senior Regional manager of Democracy International Naimur Rahman, at the beginning of the campaign, Democracy International Programe Officer (Political Knowledge Building) Junayed Mufrad Maushum introduced the campaign, outlining its objectives and significance in promoting civic engagement and advocacy.
