A person named Tanvir Ahmed posted on social media Facebook against Hushamuddin Chowdhury. Shahid Ullah, the leader of Ward No. 30 of the city, requested a ban on defamation and slander. But the opposite happened. On the contrary, obscene and indecent defamatory posts started against Shahid Ullah. The Cyber Tribunal filed a case in the Sylhet Court on July 23 as the plaintiff in this incident. Case No. 115/2025.
The plaintiff in the case, Shahid Ullah, was Facebook friends with Tanvir Ahmed (26) of Khidirpur village, Lakeshwar Bazar, Chhatak police station, Sunamganj.
