with Afzal Hossain. Afzal Hossain played the role of Deepa Khandakar’s husband in the movie. They have already finished the movie. Title of the movie is ‘Aporajeyo.’ Based on the story ‘Eka’ written by Faridur Reza Sagar, the movie is written, screenplay and directed by Syed Salauddin Zaki.
While talking about acting in the movie, Deepa Khandakar told this correspondent, “Earlier, I worked as model of television commercials under the direction of Afzal Bhai, I also acted in his directed dramas and tele-fictions. It was my greatest privilege and pride as an artiste to work under the guidance of such a talented producer. But to be able to work with him as a co-artiste is a great achievement for me. I got an opportunity to work under the direction of respected Syed Salauddin Zaki Sir in the movie ‘Aporajeyo.’ It can be said that this is a great achievement of my acting career because such opportunities do not always come in acting life. The screen sharing experience is different. I have sincere gratitude to Syed Salauddin Zaki Sir for engaging me in such a wonderful work. Afzal Bhai is just as unique as a producer as he is very cooperative as a co-artiste. Working with Afzal Bhai in the movie, I also tried to enrich my own performance. I have also sincere gratitude and love to Afzal Bhai.”
