How many hundreds of memories are crowding in front of the eyes today. I am most grateful to Kazi Shahedul Islam Bhai for my acting career. It can be said that he took me from one place and involved me in acting. But I had no idea about the world of acting. I have gratitude to my great aunt freedom-fighter Farida Akhtar, and also gratitude to my elder sister Rupa. I have also thanks to all my producers, directors, co-artists, journalists and above all the audience. With everyone’s support and inspiration, I am today’s Deepa.”
Deepa’s best friend in the media is Tanvin Sweety. Farzana Hosein Munna is her best friend outside the media, the actress mentioned.
