A day-long free eye camp was held Debiganj Alodini Govt Girls High School playground in Debiganj upazila on Thursday for low-income communities.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md, Mahomudul Hasan inaugurated the programme as a chief guest. About 1500 poor eye patients were received free eye treatment and 65 patients underwent to cataract operation. Eight doctors led by DR Binu Chandra Ray conducted the camp.
Upazila administration, Dinajpur Gousul Azom BNSB eye hospital and Andheri Hilfi Bon Zarmani have jointly arranged the free medical camp.
