Chattogram Bureau :
A day-long training workshop on Strategic Plan Preparation of Four Faculties (CVASU) of Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) was held.
The convener, members, external members of the ‘5-Year Strategic Planning Committee’ of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Food Science and Technology and Faculty of Fisheries Science and the Dean and Heads of Departments of the Faculty of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering participated in the workshop held on Sunday at the conference room on the 2nd floor of the university’s Academic Building-1.
The opening ceremony of the workshop organized by the University’s Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was attended by Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Lutfur Rahman as the chief guest. Director of IQAC Prof. Dr. Kh. Nurul Islam presided over the event and Dr. Md. Ahaduzzaman, Additional Director of IQAC, delivered the welcome address.
Prof. Dr. AKM Saifuddin, Department of Physiology, Biochemistry and Pharmacology, Sivasu, Prof. Dr. Kh. Nurul Islam, Director of IQAC, and Prof. Dr. Md. AhsanulHaque, Head of Department of Genomics and Bioinformatics, were present as resource persons in the technical session of the workshop.
