Day-long arts and crafts fair held in Pirganj

A day-long arts and crafts fair was held on Monday at Sabuj Government Primary School in Pirganj, Thakurgaon, showcasing the creativity of young students under the theme *“Come change the country, change the world.”*

Upazila Executive Officer Rakibul Hasan inaugurated the event in the morning. Among those present were Upazila Primary Education Officer Rahimuddin, Press Club President Joynal Abedin Babul, Press Club General Secretary Nasrat Khoda Rana, Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee General Secretary Moqaddes Hayat Milon, and Sabuj Government Primary School Headmaster Mozammel Haque, along with teachers, students, and guardians.

The fair featured seven stalls displaying various handmade arts and crafts created by students. Earlier in the day, guests also inaugurated a wall newspaper prepared by the school.

The programme concluded with a stage play performed by the children to raise awareness about the harmful effects of child marriage, drawing appreciation from attendees for its strong social message.
