The Chattogram University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) held its first ever TEDxCUET-licensed event, “TEDxCUET,” on the theme “Resilience: Rising beyond Limits.” The event, held at the Central Auditorium of CUET on Saturday, featured the guest speaker, Vice-Chancellor of Rajshahi University, Professor Dr. Saleh Hasan Naqib. Vice-Chancellor of CUET, Professor Dr. Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan, spoke as the Chief Patron.
In addition, former Vice-Chancellors of CUET, USTC and RUET and Professor of Civil Engineering, CUET, Dr. Md. Jahangir Alam, Professor of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, University of Chittagong, delivered various orientation speeches. Adnan Mannan, Manager and CEO of Bangladesh Satellite Company Limited Dr. Muhammad Imadur Rahman, CEO of Rankon Mr.
Tanvir Shahriar Rimon, Amateur Astronomer, Digital Artist, Filmmaker and Award-Winning Astrophotographer Mr. Zubair Keolin, Clinical Nutritionist Muhammad Sajal and Head of Projects of Bashundhara Chemical Industry Limited Mr. Zakaria Jalal. Deputy Director of the Directorate of Student Welfare Professor Dr. Md. Abu Moazzem Hossain delivered the welcome speech at the program.
