Ctg 5 police stations get new OCs

Chattagarm district’s 5 police station have received new OCs. District Superintendent of Police Raihan Uddin Khan issued these transfer orders on Monday. Inspector Nur Ahmad Fatikchari, Nazrul Islam Dakshin Rangunia, Detective Police Inspector Md. Kamruzzaman Rangunia, Abu Zayed Md. Nazmun Noor have been given the responsibility of Patia, Saiful Islam Banshkhali and Sheikh Mahbubur Rahman as the OC of Sandwip police station. After the fall of the government on the 5th of August in the movement of the students and the people, extensive changes in the police began.

The day after the new Superintendent of Police joined Chattagram district on September 1, the OCs of 12 police stations except Rangunia, Zorarganj, Dakshin Rangunia, Bhujpur, Lohagara and Sitakunda police stations were withdrawn and attached to the police line.

Lohagara police station OC Rashedul Islam was also transferred on Monday in connection with the escape of the accused from the police station.

Meanwhile, 13 OCs who were withdrawn by an order of the police headquarters and 17 people, including five OCs who served as OCs earlier, were transferred to different units of the police on Monday.
