Criticism should be focused on my work: Faria

Nusraat Faria now seems like a free bird—sometimes in Canada, sometimes in London, and from there traveling to other countries.

However, this traveling is not just for leisure; she is also spending a busy time for work purposes.

She is participating in various international events, performing on stage, and presenting herself anew to the audience through photoshoots.

Faria is quite active on social media. Sometimes she appears in a saree in a pure Bengali look, and sometimes she stuns in a bikini with a bold and glamorous appearance.

Each post sparks waves of discussion—some shower her with praise, while others criticize.

Faria herself remains completely unbothered by such reactions. Rather, she believes that as long as there is discussion and criticism, people’s interest in an artist remains alive.

Meanwhile, the latest news is that she has become busy with music once again, in addition to acting. A few months ago, she lent her voice to a song. Currently, the music video for that song is being filmed. Once everything is completed, she plans to release the song along with the video.

Although she didn’t reveal much about it yet, she hinted that this upcoming song will be far more aesthetic and impressive than her previous ones.

However, the beginning of this year was not very easy for Faria. It was a difficult time filled with controversies and personal incidents. Now, leaving everything behind, she has returned to work with renewed enthusiasm.

In Faria’s words, ‘Since childhood, I have maintained one principle— whether it’s praise or criticism, it should be focused on my work. I am trying to do better projects in the coming days.’

Her film ‘Thikana Bangladesh’ is awaiting release. Based on the story of the Independent Bangladesh Football Team, the film stars Arifin Shuvoo opposite her and is directed by Anam Biswas.

Faria shared that the story is highly inspirational and the production quality is excellent. However, the release date of the film has not been finalized yet.
