PR I myself do not understand. Will the general public understand? Save
the country, do not create division. There will be no election without
referendum and PR. They want to distort the election by making these
demands and processions, said BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul
Islam Alamgir.
He made these comments at a view-exchange meeting at the Hindu and
women's rally at the Gopalpur School Ground of Bariya Union, Sadar
Upazila, organized by Bariya Union BNP on Wednesday morning.
Mirza Alamgir said, the debate on PR will go to parliament. The
opinions that the parties agree on will be signed in the July Charter.
There will be a referendum for the remaining opinions. Please end this
unrest with the election. I don't want more politics of violence. I don't
want division between Hindus and Muslims. I want everyone to live in
peace.
He said, I was in the government in the past and I know how to manage.
If BNP is elected, employment arrangements will be made for 1 crore
people. Every family will be given a family card. The health and
education sectors will be given importance. Farmers will be given the
most attention.

Regarding the election, Mirza Fakhrul said, I will give my vote to
whoever I want. We don't want to create division. Whoever the people
vote for will be elected. Don't divide and harm the country. I want to see
a democratic Bangladesh. I want to live in harmony and brotherhood. I
have not left you, I will not go. Don't forget, the market is a grain of rice.
At this time, the principal of the ISKCON temple, Shrimat Bhaktivinoy
Swami Maharaj, the religious guru of the Laskara Gaudiya Math, Swami
Bhaktikena Maharaj, BNP district general secretary Paygam Ali, Sadar
Upazila general secretary Mahabub Hossain Tuhin and other party
leaders and activists were present.
