Covid claims one at KMCH

A young man named Deep Roy (25) has died due to corona. He is a resident of Swapnapuri area of Batiaghata upazila of Khulna.
He died while undergoing treatment at Khulna Medical College Hospital in the early hours of Monday (July 21). This is the first death due to corona in Khulna this year.
Resident Medical Officer (RMO) of Khulna Hospital and focal person for dengue and corona, Dr. Khan Ahmed Ishtiaq, confirmed this information.
He said that Deep was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Khulna due to corona. When his physical condition deteriorated while he was there, he was taken to Khulna Hospital on life support on Sunday (July 20) afternoon. He died while undergoing treatment there in the early hours of Monday (July 21).
He also said that so far 10 patients have been admitted to Khulna Hospital due to corona. Currently, one is undergoing treatment at the hospital.
