Bangladesh reported one Covid-19 death and eight new infections in the 24 hours leading up to Tuesday morning, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
A total of 234 samples were tested during the period, yielding a daily positivity rate of 3.42 percent.
Since January this year, 25 Covid-related deaths and 651 infections have been recorded in the country.
With the latest figures, the overall death toll from the pandemic has risen to 29,524, while the total number of confirmed cases now stands at 20,52,196.
