Courtyard meeting held in Chatmohar

A courtyard meeting of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) was held at Bilchalan Union High School ground in Chatmohar upazila on Monday, June 30, with the presence of BNP nomination hopeful Hasanul Islam Raja, who is also an advisor to the Central Executive Committee of the Nationalist Cultural Party.

Addressing the event as the chief guest, Hasanul Islam Raja declared his full support for BNP acting chairman Tareq Rahman, stating, “Tareq Rahman will decide whom to nominate for the Pabna-3 constituency in the upcoming Jatiya Sangsad election, and we will work wholeheartedly for that candidate. We are loyal to his leadership.”

The meeting was presided over by Kitab Uddin, President of Ward BNP of Bilchalan Union. Several local BNP leaders and activists also spoke, including Zahurul Haque Master, former Joint Secretary of Chatmohar Municipal BNP, Saiful Islam Master, Jubo Dal leader Al Amin Talukder, Mathurapur Union Krishak Party President Rezaul Karim Babu, and BNP leader Alhaj Abdul Sattar Master.

The event was part of the party’s ongoing grassroots-level outreach in preparation for the next national election. Speakers at the gathering called for party unity and grassroots mobilization, stressing the importance of organizational strength in the coming political battle.
