Court has given death sentence of a person named Rashed Kabir in the case of killing autovan driver Nayan Sardar in Madhukhali, Faridpur.
At the same time, the court sentenced the other accused, Mizanur Khan, to three years’ imprisonment and one month’s imprisonment without paying a fine of Tk 5,000.
Additional District and Sessions Judge 2nd Court Judge Shihabul Islam announced the verdict on Sunday (July 14) afternoon. Deputies Rashed Kabir and Mizanur Khan were present in the court when the verdict was announced. Later they were sent to jail under police guard.
The sentenced convict Rashed Kabir (33) is the son of deceased Ismail Sheikh of Bailarchar village of Trishal upazila of Mymensingh district and Mizanur Khan (38) is the son of Alem Khan of Gadadhardi village of Raipur union of Madhukhali upazila of Faridpur.
