‘Country’s best election to be held’

The Press Secretary of the Chief Advisor, Shafiqul Alam, said that the countrymen will see a very beautiful election next February.
Which will be free, fair and exclusive. Where all the people of the country will participate.
The election will be held in a very festive atmosphere. When you see an election abroad, you will not realize that an election is taking place.
When there have been very good elections in Bangladesh, especially some elections during the caretaker government. At that time, boys, girls, parents all voted together at the polling station.
Now all the people of the village stay outside the polling station and chat. Who will win the election is discussed by this party.
Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus has promised that this will be the best election in the history of Bangladesh.
He said these things in response to questions from journalists at the foundation stone laying ceremony of the 4-storey new building of the Kuliara High School in Chouddagram Upazila of Cumilla at 11 am on Tuesday.
Regarding the differences between political parties, he further said, “If there are political parties, there will be differences.
We are not taking this seriously. Those from political parties who have spoken to the consensus commission have had the biggest discussion in history in a very nice and cordial atmosphere for nine months.
We hope that the differences between them on some issues will be resolved very soon. Everyone is preparing for the elections.
BNP has already announced candidates for 237 seats, while Jamat has also announced candidates in various places.
The big parties are election-oriented. We will see a good election. Now the election tide is flowing. He said there is a heavyweight candidate in this Chaudgram. We saw a lot of posters and banners.
Shafiqul Alam said that ahead of November 13, the Awami League is trying to create some kind of chaos and terrorist activities.
The police are very alert in this regard. So far, 7 buses have been set on fire across the country. We think it was done by Awami League people. One person was caught red-handed in Demra area. His home is in Gopalganj.
Also, a bus driver was burnt to death while sleeping in Mymensingh. All of them are the work of the banned Awami League. Through this activity, the Awami League has proven why they have been banned. Awami League is a terrorist party.
Regarding the election countdown, he said, elections can be held within three months and elections can be held in less than three months.
Elections in the first week of February. We are sure that it will be a very good election. Four students have seen up to eighty percent voter turnout in the elections.
The foundation stone laying ceremony was presided over by the president of the Kuliyara High School Management Committee, Delwar Hossain Majumder.
In addition to the chief guest, Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam, the special guests were the Chief Advisor’s Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder, Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajib Mahmud, Chauddagram Upazila Executive Officer Md. Jamal Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of the Police Station Mohammad Hilal Uddin Ahmed, Upazila Secondary Education Officer AKM Mir Hossain, the school’s headmaster Imtiaz Ahmed Bhuiyan, Assistant Headmistress Bibi Mariam, prominent businessman Ismail Hossain Chowdhury, guardian member Rezaul Karim Mintu, Sharmin, a 10th grade student of the school, and Rabiul, a 9th grade student.
Leaders of various levels of political and social organizations and local dignitaries were present at the ceremony.
