Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Dr. Mohammad Abdul Momen said that the main reason behind the escape of former Prime Minister, former Chief Justice, Governor of Bangladesh Bank, and Khatib of Baitul Mukarram is corruption. We also need to inquire about the officials and employees among us. You can even inquire about me.
He made these remarks at a public hearing organized by the Anti-Corruption Commission and in collaboration with the district administration at Joypurhat District Shilpakala Academy at 10 am on Monday.
If we are sincere with each other, corruption will decrease.
At the event, allegations were made about corruption in several offices, including the 250-bed General Hospital, BRTA Office, Joypurhat Sugar Mill, Joypurhat Municipality, LGED, Police Station, Police, Prison, Land Office, Union Parishad, and Social Services.
At this time, the ACC Chairman took note of the complaints and directed the relevant departments to resolve them.
