A bundle of corrugated tin and a cheque for Taka 3,000 was distributed free of charge among 56 families affected by fire and storm in Pirganj upazila of Thakurgaon.
During the distribution of these tins and checks by the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief on the upazila parishad premises on Tuesday.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Rakibul Hasan, former Upazila Chairman Ziaul Islam Zia, Project Implementation Officer Tariful Islam, Upazila BNP Organizing Secretary Rezwanul Islam, Vice President Abul Hossain, Pirganj Press Club President Zoynal Abedin Babul, Nasrate Khoda Rana, Bhomrah Union Acting Chairman Abdul Majid, BNP leaders, Zillur Chowdhury, Abdul Khalek, media persons and beneficiaries were present.
