The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr Md Shawkat Ali, inaugurated the registration process for the first convocation at the Syndicate Hall of the Administrative Building on Thursday afternoon, During the event, he stated that students from the 1st to the 12th batches of Begum Rokeya University who have obtained their degrees will be eligible to participate in the convocation.
The registration process for the first convocation will continue from 21 November to 10 December 2025.
The Vice-Chancellor added that the participation of degree-holding students will make the university’s first convocation a memorable event.
The programme was formally inaugurated through the convocation registration of Md Shahid Sarkar, a student of the MBA (Professional) 1st batch from the Department of Marketing.
Also present at the occasion were Controller of Examinations Professor Dr Md Zahid Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology Professor Dr Md Mizanur Rahman, Director of the Student Counselling and Guidance Department Professor Dr Md Ilyas Pramanik, Proctor Dr Md Ferdous Rahman, along with other officials.
