Convict Enamul faints after verdict

Former general manager (admin) of Chittagong Urea Fertiliser Ltd (CUFL) Enamul Hoque fainted right after a Chittagong court awarded him death penalty along with 13 other accused in the 10-truck arms haul case.
Meanwhile, former Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI) Director Maj Gen (retd) Rezzakul Haider Chowdhury said, “It is a planned verdict. I have nothing to say against it”. Rezzakul was giving his immediate reaction over the verdict against him. “I was a member of the committee formed to investigate the incident. Former secretary Omar Faruk was also a member. He has been coerced into giving false statement against me,” he added.
