Controversy over saree, Tanjin Tisha speaks out

Popular small-screen actress Tanjin Tisha has recently faced a new allegation. A female entrepreneur has claimed that Tisha took a free saree from her but broke her promise. The allegation has sparked widespread discussion on social media.

The incident dates back to last January. Tisha, from her verified Instagram account, contacted an online fashion page called ‘Aponia’. There, she asked for photos of some Jamdani sarees. According to the entrepreneur, Jhinuk, Tisha chose a yellow Jamdani saree priced at 28,800 taka.

Considering Tisha’s popularity, Jhinuk offered to give her the saree for free on the condition that Tisha would wear it, take photos, and promote the brand on her social media. Tisha agreed to the proposal, and the saree was delivered to her home.

Following the publication of the news, Tanjin Tisha officially responded on her Facebook page. She wrote, ‘I took a gift, and now I’m being called a fraud! Haha! And if you wanted a photoshoot, where’s the payment? Strange female entrepreneur! Salute to your so-called gift.’
