There is instability again in the
wholesale and retail market of consumer goods. Traders have increased the price of spice products as the week goes by. According to them, products in the domestic market have decreased due to the inability to open LCs due to the rise in the value of the dollar and disruption of imports by neighboring countries.
As a result, the price of spices increased one more time. It is known that the price of turmeric has increased the most in the last one week in Khatunganj.
The product was Tk116 per kg a week ago. It was sold at Tk128 to Tk129 per kg. Desi turmeric increased by Tk10 and was sold from Tk133 to Tk134. Indian pepper was sold at Tk450 per kg, which was Tk430 a week ago. And Desi Panchagarh pepper has increased from Tk280 to Tk300 to Tk330 to Tk340. Almonds increased by Tk20 to Tk160, while black cumin was sold at Tk280 a week ago, it was sold at Tk300 yesterday.
Apart from this, pepper has increased by Tk30 from Tk550 to Tk580 and cinnamon has seen a jump from Tk285 to Tk315.
