Nahid Enterprise, one of the leading private companies in the capital lost crores of taka by trusting employees. In business management, every company keeps expert person for the accountant. So that the business accounts can be easily found.
But when the accountant becomes the looter. Then what else can be done. Hasibul Hasan Rajib, Mamun and Shihabur had been performing the duties of accountant in Nahid Enterprise Company for a long time.
Due to being in the workplace for a long time, these three have gained a lot of trust from the owner, and taking advantage of this trust and simplicity, Mamun and Shihabur, led by mastermind Hasibul Hasan Rajib and Ibrahim Sikder, also fell into this trap.
Since they were the three who kept all the accounts of the company. They used that opportunity. They stole about dozen of crore taka from the company in a few months without recording the correct account of the sale of various goods in the ledger.
However, they were never caught, but when the owner saw their multiple trips abroad on social media, Nahid Enterprises took the matter suspiciously.
Later, when they were caught, mastermind Hasibul Hasan Rajib confessed to embezzling Tk 10 crore by putting his hand on his mother’s head. Later,
mastermind Hasibul Hasan Rajib and his two assistants fled the company the next day, promising to return the money.
A general diary was filed against them with the Chawkbazar Police Station and later in the court. However, so far, the law enforcement agencies have not been able to bring any of them under the law. However, Nahid Enterprises has announced a reward of Tk 2 lakh if they can be arrested. The company has faced huge losses due to the three fraudsters.
In this regard, the Nahid Group stated, “Because they have worked in this company for a long time, company trusted them and gave them the responsibility of the entire accounting of the company. Taking advantage of our trust, they have taken dozen of crores taka without giving company’s accounts and have disappeared.
In the meantime, the company has come under the law and hope that they will bring the frauds under the law very soon.
” Regarding the complaint, the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chawkbazar Police Station told reporters that we are making maximum efforts to catch the accused. I hope that we will be able to bring them under the law in a very short time.
