One college student named Saitya Priya Das Tapu(25) crushed under wheel of a speedy truck in the city yesterday morning at about 9 am. The incident was occurred at Bahaddarhat flyover area . Tapu is the 4th year of BA(Honours) of Govt city college, Chittagong.
He is the son of late Swapan Das of Moheskhali. Panchalaish thana police sources said Tapu was crushed while crossing the road under Flyover and died on the spot.
Police detained the truck helper and truck but driver escaped from the spot quickly, sources said.
