The online admission process for Class XI students for the 2025-26 academic session commenced on Wednesday, with all applications to be submitted exclusively through the official government portal: www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd. This year, no paper-based applications will be accepted.
Applicants have until 11 August to complete their submissions. An application fee of Tk 220 has been set per candidate. Each student is required to list a minimum of five and a maximum of ten preferred colleges.
Admissions will be allocated based on a combination of SSC examination results, quota considerations, and the student’s order of preference. Each applicant will receive a single placement from among their selected institutions.
Students from the science stream at the SSC level are eligible to apply for science, humanities, or business studies in higher secondary education. However, those from humanities or business studies backgrounds may only apply within those respective streams.
Selection will be determined solely on SSC or equivalent results, with no separate entrance examinations scheduled.
The results of the first phase of college placements will be published at 8:00 PM on 20 August. Following the completion of all admission rounds, classes are expected to begin on 15 September.
