Clash between Opso Saline workers

Tensed situation created in Barishal city due to the opposing positions of the two groups of workers of Opso Saline Pharmaceuticals.

As a result, the movement of vehicles on the road named after poet Jibanananda Das (Bogura Road) in Barishal city has been stopped since Tuesday morning to noon suffering the people of the surrounding areas.

Local resident Rashida Begum said that for the past 3 weeks, the workers of Opso Saline Pharmaceuticals have been blocking the factory gate and holding a protest program on Bogura Road area in city center.

Although a part of Bogura Road was blocked due to this, it was possible to travel to the Munshi Garage area via Battala Road to another part of Bogura Road.

But since Tuesday morning, some workers have been blocking the road in front of Battala Road and Aarong Shop, due to which the movement of vehicles on the road has been completely stopped.
