Citizens Bank holds Annual Risk conference 2025

Citizens Bank PLC recently held its Annual Risk Conference 2025 at the bank’s Head Office in Dhaka. A.N.M. Moinul Kabir, Director of the Department of Offsite Supervision at Bangladesh Bank, inaugurated the conference as chief guest and outlined important guidelines for risk management in the banking sector, according to a press release.

Alamgir Hossain, Managing Director of Citizens Bank, presided over the event and emphasised risk management priorities amid the prevailing macroeconomic environment. Deputy Managing Directors Md. Mostafizur Rahman and Md. Abdul Latif, Chief Financial Officer Mohammad Saiful Islam, and Chief Risk Officer Md. Israil Hossain were also in attendance.

M. M. Apurba Abrar, Deputy Director of the Department of Offsite Supervision at Bangladesh Bank, led a technical session as the resource person. Senior executives, divisional heads, and branch managers of the bank participated in the conference.
