Entertainment Report :
Actress Nusraat Faria has spoken publicly for the first time about her arrest earlier this year in connection with an attempted murder case.
Faria, who was taken into custody in May and spent two days in jail before being released, broke her silence during a recent appearance on the New York-based talk show ‘Friday Night with Zayed Khan’.
“I never imagined something like this could happen. Not even in my worst nightmares,” Faria said.
“My life revolves around skincare, makeup, a little travelling, shopping, spending time with family, going out with friends for a nice meal-simple joys like that. Suddenly having to deal with such complications was deeply frustrating.”
Responding to host Zayed Khan’s question about how she has processed the experience, Faria replied, “I think this is what growing up means. Circumstances make people grow. I believe I have grown mentally through this ordeal.
This is my first interview since the arrest. I haven’t spoken about it anywhere else-not because I didn’t want to, but because I wasn’t mentally prepared to talk until now.”
