The High Court (HC) has rejected a government petition seeking directives for exempting Criminal Investigation Department (CID) from probing Narayanganj seven-murder case. A bench comprising Justice Md. Reza-ul Haque and Justice Gobindah Chandra Thakur passed the order on Thursday. After rejecting the petition, the court ordered that CID would continue inquiry into the incident of abduction and killings of the seven people in Narayanganj and submit it report before it.
