A Dhaka court on Sunday gave the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) additional time to submit its probe report over the death of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet) student Fardin Noor Parash in November 2022.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ali Haider passed the order on Sunday.
Sunday was the date of submitting the further investigation report of the case. However, CID officials could not submit the report.
On April 16 last year, a Dhaka court CID to further probe into the case.
Fardin was a third-year student at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology’s civil engineering department and a resident of Qutubpur area in Narayanganj’s Fatullah.
