Christmas, the biggest religious festival of Christians, was celebrated with various arrangements at the AG Church in Fakirhat Upazila in Bagerhat district. The day began with prayers and cake-cutting ceremony at the Kalkalia AG Church in the Upazila at 10-30 am on Thursday.
At this time, the joy of Christmas was shared by cutting the cake with the participation of children and teenagers. Then special religious songs were performed. Later, Christmas was celebrated in a joyful atmosphere through prayers, discussions and cultural performances. In the discussion meeting, the speakers highlighted the life of Jesus Christ and his ideals of human welfare.
