China is ready to provide equipment to Bangladesh for the country’s capacity building at the hydrology sector. Beijing will provide the assistance under the ‘Implementation Plan of the MoU on Exchange of Hydrological Information Sharing of the Yaluzangbu-Jamuna River signed Implementation Plan” that was signed between Bangladesh and China during the recent visit of Foreign Adviser Md Touhid Hossain in Beijing.
This was revealed while Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen held a meeting with Foreign Secretary Md Jashim Uddin at the foreign ministry on Monday, said a foreign ministry’s press release here on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the Chinese Ambassador briefed the Foreign Secretary about the outcome of the first bilateral visit of Foreign Affairs Adviser to China on January 20 to 24.
The Chinese envoy lauded the outcome of the visit, which covers all the bilateral issues cooperation in health sector, economic sector, trade and investment sector, cultural sector and defense sector.
