Temperatures across the country are set to gradually drop over the next few days, signaling the onset of winter according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department. The department’s forecast indicates that both daytime and nighttime temperatures will steadily decline, resulting in a mild chill that will be felt across Bangladesh.

Meteorologist Hafizur Rahman shared the forecast on Thursday, noting that dry weather is expected to prevail throughout the country, with partly cloudy skies in some areas over the next 24 hours. Minor reductions in day and night temperatures are anticipated, as seasonal low pressure currently resides over the South Bay of Bengal, with an extension extending northward into the Bay.
