The partial full committee of Savar Government College Chhatra Dal, under the Dhaka District North Branch of Bangladesh Nationalist Chhatra Dal, was officially announced on Thursday. The committee’s formation marks a significant step for the student wing of the BNP in the region.
Emu Imran has been appointed as the president and Ahmed Faisal as the general secretary in the committee. In addition, a 31-member committee has been approved by making Raihan Mahbub the organising secretary. Along with this, instructions have been given to submit the list of the full committee within 45 days.
Dhaka District North Chhatra Dal President Mohammad Tamiz Uddin and General Secretary Mahfuz Iqbal have officially approved the committee. The leaders said this committee will further strengthen Chhatra Dal in the coming days and will play an important role in implementing the party’s ideology.
According to several Chhatra Dal leaders, priority has been given to leaders who have shown courage in the past movement and struggle in this committee. Especially those who have been subjected to repression on the streets, faced cases and worked tirelessly during the party’s critical times, have been properly evaluated.
The leaders of the newly formed committee said, “We will continue the movement on the streets following the ideals of Shaheed Zia and the instructions of the national leader Begum Khaleda Zia and acting chairman Tarique Rahman. We will always be ready to achieve the just rights of the students.”
On the other hand, the partial committee of Savar Model College Chhatra Dal was approved on the same day.
