premiering on April 3 across different television channels. Known for her storytelling that delves deep into human
relationships, the acclaimed director’s latest offerings
promise to be no exception, said a press release.
‘Kono Ekdin’
After a four-year hiatus, esteemed actors Afzal Hossain and Sadia Islam Mou reunite on-screen as a married couple in ‘Kono Ekdin’. The narrative explores the profound journey
of a husband battling cancer and the unforeseen twists
that ensue when a young man enters their lives.
Chayanika shared with local media, “Upon reading the script, Afzal Hossain immediately came to mind. If he had been unavailable, my alternative would have been Mahfuz Ahmed. For the wife’s role, Mou was my first choice.”
The drama also features performances by Shommo Jyoti, Tanni Mahmud Trina, and Azam Khan. The drama has
premiered on Baishakhi Television with subsequent
streaming on Rongon Music’s YouTube channel.

Starring Tanjin Tisha, Shajal Noor, and Prantar Dastider, ‘Bhalo Theko Megh’ delves into intricate human emotions.
The director said, “Upon hearing the story, Tanjin Tisha’s face became my immediate choice. She embraced the script wholeheartedly. Securing Shajal Noor and introducing the emerging talent Prantar Dastider rounded out the cast beautifully.”
The presence of Dolly Zahur further enriches the ensemble.
Produced under the Gaanchill Music banner, the drama
is available on their YouTube channel.
