Chattogram had been closely engaged in all rights movement, starting from the anti-British movement to the Liberation War of 1971. It is indisputable that the city, to a large extent, had contributed in the economic, social and cultural prosperity of Bangladesh.

Besides, the city has been popular for a remarkable number of music maestros like Ramesh Sheel and bands like Souls, LRB, Renaissance and so on.
Chattogram is also familiar for beautiful Patenga Sea Beach, the country’s only natural Rui fish breeding water body Halda, Mezban, Shutki (dried) fish, and Bela biscuits.
Bangladesh-er Hridoy Hote truly represents all the flavours of the city. Popular singers of the city, including Robi Chowdhuri, Sandipan, Elma, Shimul, Ronty and Anika, performed in the programme.
The programme was jointly hosted by Alif Chowdhury and Nahida Afroz Sumi.
