Chatmohar residents furious about social crimes

Aware Chatmohar residents are furious against drugs, teenage gangs and honeytap in Pabna’s Chatmohar. Recently, videos of teenage gangs and Honeytap gangs using obscenity and drugs have gone viral on social media.

For a long time, the gang called Honeytap has been trapping young people with drugs, obscenity and blackmail and extorting thousands of taka.
The families who are victims of blackmail have been broken. Since the police have not taken any action against these identified criminals, this gang is now reckless.

In this situation, aware Chatmohar residents are furious. For the past few days, videos of drug use and nudity of students and some scoundrels of various schools in the city have been circulating on various social media, including Facebook.

Even after that, the civil society of Chatmohar has become furious because the police have not taken any action. Several human chains were held in Chatmohar demanding the arrest of the social degradation, obscenity and open drug users of Honeytap members.

Separate human chains were held at Chatmohar Thana Mor in the morning and at Notun Bazar Kheyaghat square in the afternoon under the banner of the conscious civic society of Chatmohar. A human chain was held at Thana Mor area of the municipal town on Saturday. The human chain gave the police a 24-hour ultimatum from the human chain to arrest the accused.

Otherwise, a strict movement was warned. Later, after the human chain, a memorandum was submitted to the Upazila Executive Officer on behalf of the civic society.

The speakers said that despite the widespread discussion of the issue of honey tap, the police are mysteriously silent. Chatmohar is a peaceful area in the district.
