A man died after being beaten by an elephant in Kishoreganj. He died while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Tuesday noon. The victim’s was identified as Masudur Rahman (42), son of Abdur Rahman at Singrail village in Nandail upazila of Mymensingh. Earlier on Monday evening, the victim Masudur attacked by an elephant at his own pharmacy at Nagua CNG stand in Kishoreganj town. On information, Police rushed to the spot and held an elephant and mahouts Riaz Molla (27).
According to local sources, Masudur Rahman was sitting in his own pharmacy at the Nagua CNG Stand on Monday evening. At that time an elephant went to his pharmacy and offered his trunk for money. Masudur then gave the elephant a 10 taka note.
