Police submitted charge sheet against Nayebe Ameer of Hefazat Islam and founder of Lalkhan Bazar Madrasa Mufti Ezharul Islam , his son Harun Ezhar and 7 others in much talked grenade explosion in Lalkhan Bazar madrasa premises.
IO of Khulsi Thana Lokman Hossain submitted charge sheet to GRO section of Chittagong Metropolitan Magistrate court yesterday morning.
 In the charge sheet framed against 9 accused and 46 witnesses recorded in it under section 3, 4 of Explosive Act of 1908.
The charge sheeted accused are – Mufti Ezhar and his son Harum Ezhar, Abdul Hai, Habibur Rahman, Md. Ishaq , Monir Hossain , Abdul Mannan, Tafsir and Junaid .
Mentionable that a tragic grenade explosion occurred in the Madrasha premises on October 7 last year where 5 students were injured.
Among the injured , two killed during treatment. Sources said Mufti Ezhar is the President of one part of Islami Oikya Jote and President of Nejame Islam Party .
