Channel-i prog presenter stabbed dead in city

Miscreants stabbed a program presenter of Channel-i, one of the leading private television channels of the country, to death at East Rajabazar in the city on Wednesday night. The deceased was identified as Maulana Nurul Islam Faruqui, presenter of an Islamic program ‘Hajj Kafela’. Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police sources told banglanews that miscreants stabbed Nurul Islam Faruqui to death around 9:15pm when he tried to stop them from robbing at his home. –banglanews24.com
