Certificate distribution ceremony held at CVASU

Chattogram Bureau :

Chattagram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) Youth Red Crescent Unit organised a freshers’ and certificate distribution ceremony.
Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr. Mohammad Lutfur Rahman, was present as the chief guest at the freshers and certificate distribution ceremony held at CVASU Auditorium on Sunday.

University Treasurer Professor Dr. Md. Kamal, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Food Science and Technology Professor Dr. Shirin Akhter, Proctor Professor Dr. Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman and Youth Head of Chattagram City Youth Red Crescent A. N. M. Tamjid were present as special guests at the ceremony.

CVASU Director (Student Welfare) Professor Dr. Mohammad Rashedul Alam presided over the ceremony. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Lutfur Rahman urged the students to engage in human service to gain mental peace and acquire human qualities.

In the chairman’s speech, Director (Student Welfare) Professor Dr. Mohammad Rashedul Alam told the new students that only achieving academic excellence is not enough; students should also actively participate in co-curricular activities.

He urged the students to develop honesty, responsibility and a humanitarian attitude in their lives. At the end, certificates were distributed among the students who completed the first aid training.
