SHEIKH ARIF BULBON :

The flood situation of the country has taken a terrible shape. Heavy rains and landslides from upstream have flooded the south-eastern districts of the country. Communication has been cut off due to road damage and water rising at various places. In such a situation, the stars of the showbiz arena called to stand next to the flood victims according to their ability. Many of them have gone down to the organisation of necessary cooperation. Some have reached flood affected areas.
Director Mostafa Sarwar Farooki has been vocal about the country’s flood situation for a few days. He wrote on Facebook yesterday, “Think we are going to war. So what would I do? Everyone used to fall together. So let’s do it now. Navy-Army-Air Force Brothers and Sisters, Let’s Step Up. Speed up the rescue with rescue boats, cargo planes, whatever. What I learned from talking, people need rescue boats right now. Rescuing millions of people is a herculean task. But let’s do it. As many speed boats and engine boats are near and far from the affected area, they are running with them. But please don’t go without a life jacket. Danger will only unite us. No one can break us.”
Singer Asif Akbar wrote, “Pump owners say oil free for rescue boats; the operators say, the net is free; the owners of the dry place are saying that it is free to stay; common people say, share the food. New Bangladesh has woken up. An unprecedented unity has been created today among the people of the whole country. This political flood will also be dealt with after the exodus of the dictatorial demon on July 36 (August 5). The temporary disaster will pass, then a new Bangladesh will emerge without problems. Army-student-crowd – has built a unity. This time to the struggle; the struggle for sovereignty, and struggle to build a new Bangladesh, shoulder to shoulder, hand in hand regardless of religion-caste.”
