CDA gets 6 new board members after chairman

Ministry of Housing and Public Works has appointed 6 board members of Chattagram Development Authority (CDA) for three years.
The appointment was made on September 25 in the notification signed by Mizanur Rahman, Joint Secretary of the Ministry’s Administration Branch-6. According to the notification, the government has appointed the following 6 persons as members of the Chattagram Development Authority (CDA) for a period of three years under Section 6 (1) (D) and 5 (2) of the Chattagram Development Authority Act 2018.
The new board members are Engineer Manzare Khorshed Alam, ABNews24BD.com Resident Editor Zahidul Karim Kochi, Haji Mohammad Nazrul Islam, Architect Syeda Zarina Hossain, Architect Farooq Ahmed, Md. Sakhawat Hossain and Advocate Syed Qudrat Ali. Earlier, the ministry appointed the new chairman of CDA on September 2 of this month. On February 3, 2022, the Ministry of Public Works had issued a notification to form a new board.Which was supposed to expire on February 2, 2025.
