Chattogram Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) started a subsidized scheme for low-income people on the occasion of the holy month of Ramzan.
Chamber President Mahbubul Alam inaugurated the event recently in front of the World Technology Centre.
At that time, the Vice President of the CCCI Syed Mohammad Tanveer, directors Md Ahid Siraj Chowdhury, Zahirul Islam Chowdhury, (Alamgir), Anjan Shekhar Das, Md Rakibur Rahman (Tutul), Md Iftekhar Faisal, Tanveer Md Ifa Chowdhury and Mohammad Nasirul Alam (Fahim) were present on the occasion.
During the inauguration, the President of the CCCI, Mahbubul Alam, said that due to the Russia-Ukraine war after Corona, the supply chain in the supply of food has been disrupted in the world. As a result, there has been a shortage of foods in various countries. But the Prime Minister’s far-sighted efforts to ensure the supply of foods allowed the opening of LCs amid the international crisis.
Mentioned that, per kg of rice and boiled rice is being insured at the rate of Tk35 and sugar at Tk60 and each buyer can purchase the prescribed weight in a day.
