CCC Mayor stressed on better healthcare services in rural areas

Chattogram City Mayor Dr. Shahdat Hossain said the affluents should come forward for establishing specialized medicare units in the rural areas so as the poors may get better health service.

He told this while inaugurating the BCCUL General Hospital at Raozan Pahartali in Chattogram district recently as chief guest. BCCUL General Hospital is a latest technology based medical unit situated at Mokbul Tower in Raozan Upazila.

Advisor to the BNP Chairperson and profession of Dhaka University Dr.Sukomol Barua was the guest of honour in it. Managing Director of the hospital Dr.Kallol Barua delivered address of welcome.

Among others vice chairman of the organization Dr. Chowdhury Chiranjib Barua, Prof. Ujjal Mutsuddi, Engr. Tirtangkar Barua, spooke of the occasion as guests of honour.

The special guests on the occasion are Asstt. Commissioner (Land) Aung Ching Marma, President of Chattogram Diabetics Association Prof. Jahangir Chowdhury, Central Zia Mancha Vice President Wakil Ahmed, proprietor of Mokbul Tower Abdul Hoque, Managing Partner Md.Mustafa were present. Director of the Hospital Mrinal Kanti Barua moderated the inaugural session.
