Chattagram City Corporation (CCC) Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain laid the foundation stone of 3 infrastructure projects in the city on Sunday one of the projects is the new building of Halishahar Alhaj Mohabbat Ali City Corporation High School with 7 floors at the cost of Tk 13 crore 77 lakh in Halishahar. A total 9 crore 45 lakh taka will be spent on this project.
While laying the foundation stone of the new building of AlhajMohabbat Ali City Corporation High School, the mayor stressed on moral education and said if we are not educated in moral education, we cannot give anything to the society. Today I became a doctor after studying, everything is fine. But this education is of no value when the doctor cannot be humane, cannot treat a poor patient for free. If a teacher cannot teach a talented poor student for free, his education is worthless.
In this way, if we have to be humane in every profession, if we have to be social, if we have to fulfill the real responsibility of the society, then we must be educated in moral education. Claiming that the country is lagging behind in the education sector, the mayor said that in the last 16 years, we have seen various forms of anarchy in the name of education. There has been extortion.
My students have been taught fake history in books. Teachers who are here remember that during the previous government, many boys were wasted due to drug addiction. Many have been corrupted by exposure to bad boys in various ways.
The youth gang culture was created during that government. You must save our children. Keep them clean. It is your responsibility to check whether the students are maintaining their hygiene, whether their nails are clean, whether their hair is in order. You have to make them healthy citizens.
