Mohammad Zakir Hossain Chowdhury, one of the founders and a member of the advisory council of the Chouddagram Bankers’ Society (CBS) in Comilla, was honored by CBS following his promotion to the position of Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank.
The reception ceremony was held at the Institution of Diploma Engineers in the capital on Saturday.
The event was presided over by the organization’s president and former Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank, Moinuddin Ahmed. The General Secretary, Abdullah Al Kafi Mazumder, EVP of NCC Bank, and the event coordinator, S. M. Habib Mohsin Sudhan, an officer of Pubali Bank, oversaw the arrangements.
